We are going to do a couple of things in the near future that are joint advertising efforts. One is a business listing on the Kechi Chamber website and the second is a welcome bag that you can put promotional items in or purchase advertising on to highlight your business. You will receive exposure in both of these opportunities for free with you chamber membership. Our desire is to provide value for your membership—not just a social club and financial burden. The preceding are two ways that we feel we can help promote business in Kechi in an inexpensive way. At this time please consider the following:1- Join the chamber of commerce: The Chamber membership is $100 for businesses and for individuals and will give you access to all general chamber meetings currently held once per month, access to quarterly mixers and education events—the first of which will be at Karg Art Glass the first Monday in July, a listing on the kechi chamber website, www.kechikansas.org, and a listing on a print piece that will go into the welcome bag that will be distributed to all prospective new residents and businesses.2- Purchase advertising on the Kechi welcome bag: We will be printing 1000 welcome bags on recycled kraft paper. These bags will be distributed to all prospective new residents and businesses. That means that for a low price ($100 for a business card sized ad) you will be able to invest in advertising in an inexpensive way that will be distributed for you to the market that you are trying to reach with your product! This is a great opportunity, space is limited on the bag and it will be first-come first-serve so move quickly.Thank you for your support!

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:The last opportunity to get your items to the Chamber of Commerce to go into the welcome bag will be tommorrow night, March the 19th at 7PM. You may drop off items at City Hall today and tommorrow until 5 PM or you can BRING THEM TO THE CITY HALL COMMUNITY ROOM AT 7PM MARCH THE 19TH. Any items not received by 7PM March the 19th will not go in this first 100 bags.
It has not been since the late 1980's that the city of Kechi has had a welcome bag to give to new and prospective businesses and residents in Kechi. The Chamber of Commerce and the city of Kechi are cooperating on rectifying the situation.
The deadline has passed to pay and submit your artwork for the welcome bag but you can place items (business cards, flyers, magnets, etc.) into the bag free of charge to let people know about your business! All promotional items are due by April 6th. Bring your items to the post office and drop them off to be placed in the Chambers PO Box.
